I’m Cassie, I am a Cert IV qualified veterinary nurse. My main role for the last few years has been managing a successful animal hospital. I thoroughly enjoy client interactions & getting to know clients aswell as their pets.
I have a partner, 3 year old son as well as a 6 year old step son who keep me very busy with camping, fishing & general high energy activities! We also have 3 dogs, a black headed python & a lamb I am bottle feeding currently.
Over the years in the industry I could see in Bathurst there is a demand for helping take care of pets when people are on holidays or work trips & thought now would be a good time to start actually helping!
Pets being able to stay in the comfort of their homes is a much less stressful alternative than boarding in a strange & unfamiliar place ( if you can avoid it ). Stress can heavily impact the overall health of animals especially if they have anxiety issues to begin with. Medicating any pets I will be caring for is no issue, with my experience I can also keep a close eye on any potential health concerns. Giving people peace of mind while they are away.

Cassie is absolutely fantastic with our two furry babies.
We are always so impressed with Cassie’s dedication to our cat’s wellbeing and they are always happy & relaxed on our return. She responds quickly and has gone out of her way to help us out last minute during family emergencies when we’ve had to call her at very late notice. It is great to know during those times that our cats are in such caring hands.
We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy pet sitter.

When you have a fur baby that is not well and needs daily medication and it needs to be at same time every day! Making the decision to go away and leave them behind is a huge one !
But knowing all the experience Cassie has and having met her I knew that my boy would be given the best care! Cassie arrived on time and was exactly what I needed and expected from her! I am so grateful as I got to go away for my sister’s birthday and actually relax ! Thanks again Cassie 💖
Cassie has been taking care of our fur babies for the last twelve months on multiple occasions & I won’t have anyone else again!
Cassie goes above & beyond (& I mean beyond), we had one very sick fur baby & Cassie took her to the vet for us! She administered medication, loved & cared for her until we could get home. Cassie then continued to check in on us on how our animals were going.
She checks our mail, puts out our bins & then leaves us a candle or flowers when she leaves!! It’s Cass who should be getting all the candles & flowers!
Cassie is extremely affordable & for the extra service you get it’s actually incredible. She is always available & has been at short notice for when plans change or something unexpected happens.
I recommend her to everyone I know & I am so thankful I saw her business card sitting on the counter at the vets that one summers day! ♥️

My first trip out of Bathurst/Orange district in 12 months was causing me grief as Sadie Schnoodle, my fur baby who is 10 years old, has Cushings and diabetes and is also blind, required medication and insulin injections twice/day and I knew no one who could medicate her whilst I did this overnight stay.
Until, that is, one day at the vet where Cassie worked, when she mentioned what she was doing to look after pets in their guardians absence.
She was of course, aware of Sadie’s health problems so I had no qualms in securing her services to pop in twice daily and tend to Sadie’s needs. She visited us prior to my going, and Sadie was delighted to see her which gave me the confidence to go away.
I went to Canberra and had the most enjoyable, relaxed time ever just knowing that my fur baby was being well looked after and I came home to a very happy and relaxed Sadie. The only drawback was I had to ask Cassie about the treats she gave Sadie (with my permission) and buy a packet as she absolutely loved them.
Sadie and I have no hesitation at all in recommending this lovely, caring lass to look after your pets whilst you go on holidays etc., we will certainly be using her services again and again!
I have known Cassie for sometime and i couldnt have a better person to look after our animals. Cassie recently minded our animals on the farm and cassie went above and beyond with their care. We are so grateful for everything she did.
Cassie is amazing at what she does and has the most calming and friendly nature. She took care of not only our Doggos but horses aswell and they all loved her. She replies fast and goes above and beyond to make sure your fur children are cared for and loved.
I cannot recommend Cassie highly enough to take care of your pets! We have 3 toy poodles who all have their little personality quirks and were considering our options for care while we holidayed overseas. One our girls is quite anxious and the other two are a little standoffish with new people. Cassie took this in her stride and not only recommended Adaptil to support them but made it her mission to build a bond with our animals.
Cassie visited with us prior to our trip to learn about each of the dogs and what we were looking for. She showed a genuine interest and care in each of them and went above and beyond to ensure they were comfortable and happy in our own home while we were away overseas for several weeks.
Cassie treated our spoilt trio as her own to ensure they felt loved and cared for which is reassuring as a pet owner when you are so far away. We could not have taken our trip without her!
